Ecofeminist Theology of Interdependence. A Constructive Theological Approach to Contemporary Environmental (in)Justice and Vulnerability

This article addresses the issue of social and environmental (in)justice through lens Christian ecofeminism its ethic interconnectedness ecological responsibility for all creation. Because connects exploitation women with creation (nature), I use central research methodology ecofeminist hermeneutics to formulate a question: first, an analysis ecofeminism’s position on (in)justice, then positive implications theology pursuit justice. Although climate change disproportionately impacts female populations, in particular reproductive health poorer women, are often excluded from decision-making processes. Women around world already more affected by polluted air, limited access clean water, increased exposure toxic chemicals, exacerbates these threats. Sensitivity also provides unique experiential knowledge that they can make important contribution efforts increase resilience sustainability, as well improve awareness attitudes toward issues nature world’s religions.
